Area of operation 

Visit Røros and Østerdalen is a joint destination company for the municipalities of Åmot, Alvdal, Tynset, Tolga, Os and Røros, with its head office in Røros. Visit Røros and Østerdalen is primarily responsible for the sales and marketing of the Røros region and Østerdalen as a travel destination, including the running of the tourist information office. Our work is to be characterised by commitment, positive communication and a proactive approach, with targeted measures in PR/information, sales and marketing. We aim to motivate local operators to develop high-quality offerings and events. Professionalism, quality, collaboration, networking and good alliance partners are essential to everything we do.

Cooperative 

Visit Røros and Østerdalen is a cooperative with members and owners drawn from local tourism businesses, municipalities, other service industries, banks, industrial companies and private members in the Røros region and Østerdalen. We cover an area stretching from Rena in the south to Røros in the north.
