Malmplassen Bed & Breakfast

About

In the Heart of the Mountain Region

At Malmplassen Gjestegård Bed & Breakfast, you can sleep on historic grounds. Malmplassen is built on the slag heap of Tolgen’s smelter site, operated by Røros Copper Works for more than 200 years (1660–1871). The smelter in Tolga was the longest-running decentralized smelter owned by the copper works. You’ll find us along National Road 30, 22 km north of Tynset and 33 km south of Røros.

We have 9 double rooms and one triple room. All rooms have a private bathroom and toilet. We strive to give guests a great start to the day, and our breakfast is highly praised! It includes several local products and is included in the room rate.

Our village pub likely has the largest beer selection in the region.

Food service is available during the high summer season and in connection with events, meetings, and holidays.

Our meeting rooms meet the needs of both small and large groups, including businesses, clubs, and associations.

Tolga Station (train and bus) is 400 meters from Malmplassen, with a bus stop just across the street.

There are short-term and long-term EV charging stations at YX, located 150 meters south of Malmplassen.

We can assist with car rental through NØ Bil, which is our closest neighbor.
