The Røros region is a veritable Nature’s pantry, filled with delicacies. Verdant green summers and long winters cause everything to grow a little slower and to develop extra rich and intense flavours. Generations of mountain dwellers have learned the art of making the most of these raw ingredients. Old traditions have been preserved or revived and developed to inspire new products.
