Tynset municipality

Tynset municipality stretches long and includes the villages of Kvikne, Fåset, Tylldalen and Brydalen. The centre of Tynset offers a wide variety of shops, retail and other services.

Tynset borders to Forollhogna National Park and Knutshø protected landscape area. Practically the entire municipality offers great opportunities for hunting and fishing.

Mountain valleys offers beautiful landscape with many vivid mountain pastures, and ample opportunities for biking. In winter there are miles of prepared ski tracks in areas with “guaranteed” snow.
