The various town centres and attractions are within a short distance of various train stations along our region and Røros does have the airport close to the center of town.

Parking

Accessible parking spaces (HC parking) are available in several locations in the town centre, including near:

• Røros Church

• Public parking areas

Taxi

Taxis are available in most town centre areas. Wheelchair-accessible taxis can be booked upon request.

Distances and surfaces

The town centre in places such as Røros is compact and relatively easy to navigate, but largely consists of:

• Cobblestones

• Gravel

• Historic walkways

These surfaces may affect accessibility in some areas.

Seasonal conditions

Winter conditions such as snow and ice may impact accessibility at certain times. Snow clearing and sanding are carried out regularly, but conditions may vary.
