About

Skottgården is an over 100-year-old farm and guesthouse in Brekken, 30 minutes from Røros. It is now hosted by the family Skott at Vauldalen Fjellhotell.

Skottgården consists of eight buildings, all historical origin. The farm had an obligation to keep horses for transport and were documented as a guesthouse since 1850. Welcoming guests of all kinds, from travelers and royals.

The living rooms has en historical atmosphere and there is something peaceful and good about Skottgården, none of the rooms are the same and you can clearly see that old treasures from the barn have been given new life. And outside in the enclusure you can see the horses grass gracefully.

At Skottgården we welcome groups/families for traditional lunch or dinner, events like christening, birthdays, accommodation, small course and conference.

We serve homemade traditional food and beverages from local producers.

Perhaps you want to hear the history of Skottgården or enjoy some live folkmusic between meals, we are very adaptable to our guests' wishes.
