About

Forollhogna is a mountain area in central Norway. At the heart of this area lies the Forollhogna National Park. Lush valleys with traditional mountain farms stretch onto the mountain plateau from all sides. The villages on the outskirts are home to one of the most vibrant farming communities found in Norway.

The network of trails and quiet mountain farm roads are well suited to cycling and hiking, taking you from the villages up into the peace and quiet of the mountains. The local lakes and rivers are known for excellent fishing with salmon and trout on offer. In the fall, the area is a popular location for hunting wild reindeer, moose, and grouse.
