About

Seterveien offers a five-day cycling experience starting in Alvdal, passing through Grimsbu/Kvebergsøya Farm, Savalen Mountain Hotel Spa, and Vingelen Guesthouse, and ending at Røros Hotel. The package includes four cycling days, four overnight stays in double rooms with dinner, breakfast, and packed lunch, and free access to the pools at Savalen Mountain Hotel and Røros Hotel. If you would like luggage transport from one accommodation to the next, we can arrange that as well. The same applies to the transport of people, luggage, and bicycles from Røros to Alvdal on the first day. If you prefer to cycle in the opposite direction, starting from Røros, we can accommodate that as well.

If you want to cycle the entire Seterveien or just parts of it, or for example, wish to stay two nights in Vingelen, we will naturally help you tailor the trip to your preferences. We therefore request that everyone planning to cycle Seterveien fill out the survey form on our website so that we can contact you and tailor the cycling experience for you.

We recommend using an e-bike, as some sections are quite hilly and challenging to cycle without an electric motor. You should also have some cycling experience so that your body can endure many hours on the saddle for several consecutive days. If you do not have your own e-bike, we can assist you with rentals. The same applies if you want to rent a "regular" bike.

Visit our website here, click on the "Book your tour here" button, and enter your preferences in the survey form, and we will tailor a great cycling experience for you and your fellow cyclists.
