A visit to Alvdal should be something out of the ordinary, even when just passing through.

Witness the light over Tronfjell, feel the tranquility by the Glomma River, where the river slowly meanders through the landscape, right where Østerdalen opens up and gives you the sensation of fresh air and freedom.

It's not just the valley that opens up. You also encounter open doors, hospitable people, and the opportunity to see some of Alvdal's unique attractions, and perhaps meet Ludvig and Solan.

In 2019, we renovated all our rooms – now maintaining a very high standard with bathrooms in all rooms. We also have several Tesla Superchargers outside, available 24/7, up to 150 kW.

Additionally, we have a well-equipped campground outside the hotel, with a play area, disposal station, and sanitary facilities.

The reception is staffed 24/7.

Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00.

The café is open from 08:00 to 23:00.
