Bunåva Café is open during the summer, mainly in July.
The café is staffed and serves food with a focus on using local ingredients. The summer café usually offers a variety of lunch dishes, and on selected days, traditional local dinners. Ingredients include local cheeses from Eggen Gardsysteri, meat patties from Vingelen, and mountain trout from the area. A special menu can be arranged for pre-booked groups.
The café also features a small shop selling local food products and handicrafts, as well as a book collection with non-fiction books about Forollhogna National Park, local history books, and contemporary fiction.
At Bunåva, you'll also find Wi-Fi and tourist information (staffed in summer, self-service the rest of the year). Outside, there is a charging station for electric vehicles.
