Skanckebua Bar & Restaurant

About

Skanckebua is a rich place with soul and atmosphere located in the middle of Kjerkgata in Røros. In the cozy bar upstairs, with views out to Kjerkgata you can enjoy different coffees, good food and drinks. One floor down you can find the Sewing room, that can accommodate up to 50 people, a nice venue with good atmosphere and a very special charm.

A little further down we have The Butter basement, the very soul of the old traditional building. The old bank vault, with candlelight and a long table, is the perfect venue for any occasion. Here we can accommodate 20 people.

We have lunch menu at daytime and a la cartè at night. You will find that we have a great selection of wines and beers, suited to each course.

During the summer you can sit outsdoors at a pleasant terrace.
