Would you like to hear the story behind the world heritage site of Røros? Come and see the exhibition in the Smelting House, with its miniature working model of the copper works, complete with people and horses. Or would you rather go down the mine and see for yourself? We have museums revealing old building techniques and hidden treasures – like the traditional carpentry and decorative painting - on a par with those exhibited in Stiftsgården in Trondheim - to be seen on the small farmstead of Oddentunet. The children might like to meet the animals at a living farm museum. We have experiences for both young and old, to suit the whole family.
