Located close to the Old King’s Road (County Road 30), just south of Øvre Rendal Church, lies the beautiful Rendalstunet, which includes the Old Berger School "Gammelskola," the Bull Museum/Prestegårdstunet with eight buildings, and Bergslia with four buildings. This was previously the Rendalen Village Museum.
The Gammelskola, built in 1899, has been fully renovated for the 2021 season and meets modern accessibility requirements. For example, an elevator has been installed to the second floor, where you can find interesting exhibitions. The atmosphere and charm have been preserved, and on the ground floor, you will find a café and a general store offering local products. Dining can be enjoyed in a newly built winter garden facing west. Outside, there will be fast chargers for electric cars, and there will also be facilities for emptying motorhomes and caravans nearby.
