Christmas Market in the Christmas Town of Røros

With its colorful wooden houses, white snow piling up against the walls, and a magical blue hour that enchants both young and old, the World Heritage town of Røros provides the perfect setting for an outdoor Christmas market.

For the sixteenth year in a row, the Christmas market is being held, and once again Røros’ charming shopping streets will be filled with cozy market stalls, traditional Christmas food, and time-honored pre-Christmas activities.

Rooted in authenticity and closeness, we hope to offer our guests a warm and atmospheric lead-up to Christmas.

In addition to peaceful Christmas shopping in the streets and shops, there will be horse-drawn sleigh rides, Christmas carols, Santas in the streets, kick-sled rentals, and other activities for both children and adults.
