Summer Walks at Oddentunet

About

Oddentunet is a well-preserved, listed farmstead beautifully situated in its original location in Narjordet. The main building dates back to the early 1800s and is especially known for its rare interior decorative painting and woodwork.

Guided summer tours will be held on the following dates in 2025:

  • July 10 (evening) – following the opening of the new interpretation center

  • July 13 at 14:00 – during the Narjordet Culture Days weekend

  • July 29 at 18:00

  • August 10 at 14:00

📍 Meeting point and parking: at the community center Solvang. From there, follow the river road approx. 300 meters to Oddentunet.
Note: The buildings are unheated – dress warmly and according to the weather.

Oddentunet is located in the hamlet of Narjordet, 12 km east of Os town center along County Road 28.

The summer walks are a collaboration between Rørosmuseet, Os Museum, and Anno Museums in Nord-Østerdal.

  • Adults: NOK 100

  • Children under 16: Free
