Osensjøen Camping

About

Welcome to Osensjøen Camping!

A hidden gem in the deep forests of Eastern Norway.

Osensjøen Camping is located at the northern end of Lake Osensjøen, between Trysil and Rena. The beach was ranked among the top 10 best beaches in Norway. It has shallow waters and stretches for 1 km, with "southern sand" as the kids call it.

We are a campground with 5 cabins in various price ranges, along with 19 spots for motorhomes, caravans, and tents. In summer, we also rent out a glamping tent in a lovely, quiet area on the campground. In our cabins and the glamping tent, beds are made up and ready upon your arrival.

On-site, there are sanitary facilities, a communal kitchen, a washing machine, and a dryer. There is also a playground for the kids. Guests renting a spot or cabin are welcome to use the grill hut.

We are open year-round. The kiosk/reception is open in June, July, and August, with daily hours during the school holiday.

Trysil, with many activities in both winter and summer, is 40 km away. Furutangen, with a small ski resort in winter and a 24-hole disc golf course, is 8 km from the campground.

Cross-country skiing can be done directly from the campground. There are excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling.

On our website, you can find prices and more information about the campground and available activities.
