About

Vingelen is one of the few places in the country where there is still active mountain farming.
Vingelen is known for its well-preserved rural architecture and its picturesque farms and log houses, of which some 800 predate 1900.
Vingelen is also reknown for exclusive hunting of wild reindeer and grouse.
In 2008, Vingelen became one Norway’s five national park villages.
