About

Let the fresh mountain air fill you with new energy as you explore beautiful and welcoming ski terrain with miles of groomed tracks – or create your own path across the mountain plateau. In total, the Røros region offers over 500 km of groomed trails. Trail information is available at www.skisporet.no and www.rorosloypeforening.net.

The trails in Røros are maintained by the Røros Hiking and Trail Association.

We do this because we love skiing and winter – and we want to share great winter experiences with others. The association’s work is based on volunteer efforts, but our two grooming machines need maintenance and fuel to produce those perfect tracks.

The ski trails offer exercise, relaxation, peace, and new energy for many.

Whether it's dry, squeaky snow in December, powder in February, or crusty snow with dry ridges in April, Røros Hiking and Trail Association has been up early to prepare top-quality ski trails for you. When you support us through a membership or by sending a contribution via Vipps, you help ensure great skiing and nature experiences for yourself and others. Visit our website for more information.

Enjoy your trip – see you on the trails!
