Sorknes Golf Club is located in the heart of the Birkebeiner region, about 3 km north of Rena.
The course is beautifully laid out on flat pine forest and sandy ground, which allows it to handle more rain than most other golf courses in Norway.
At Sorknes, you can enjoy a round of golf in beautiful surroundings, play a social game with friends, or participate in some of our friendly, social, and well-known tournaments and events.
In our clubhouse, you’ll find a pro shop, café, and shower/toilet facilities. Behind the clubhouse, there’s a cozy terrace overlooking the 18th hole—a perfect spot to relax after your round.
If you need a golf cart, you can rent one from us. We also have trolleys available for rent.

Some facts about the course:
18-hole golf course, par 72.
The course is designed to be challenging and enjoyable for both beginners and more experienced golfers.
The course has 4 tees (61, 56, 51, and 47).
The front 9 holes have open fairways with bunkers and a couple of ponds.
The back 9 holes have narrower fairways and water hazards, with the Skynna River surrounding many of the holes.
The course has short distances between holes and is relatively easy to walk.
