Local Food Safari in Bergstaden

About

Sign up for the Local Food Safari in the mining town by booking directly on the booking page or by contacting the Røros Tourist Office. It is not possible to book online later than 24 hours in advance, so just contact the tourist office to check for available spots. See contact information.

The tour starts at the Røros Tourist Office, where the guide will take you on a food history walk through the town’s historic streets. The outdoor tour lasts about 1 hour, so be sure to wear weather-appropriate shoes and clothing. Along the way, you will be served two tastings by the guide before heading indoors for a locally sourced lunch, including non-alcoholic local beverages. The guide will explain what is being served, and afterwards, you are free to relax and enjoy the meal.

The tour will be conducted in both English and Norwegian if there is a mix of Norwegian and international participants.

We wish you a pleasant tour and a wonderful experience!
